If a booking is requested after your initial application, the Qatar eVisa Support will contact you.

Option 2: Qatar Host ID

If you are staying with family or friends in Qatar, submit a scanned copy of their valid national ID. The QID number must be clearly visible.

Immigration authorities may contact your host to confirm your details and accommodation arrangements against their ID number.

Qatar GCC Resident Visa (A2) Additional Requirement

Applicants applying for the GCC Resident Visa (A2) must provide one additional document as proof of valid GCC residency. The residency must be from one of the following countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates.

Submit a copy of ONE of the following:

Option 1: GCC Residence Permit

Submit a scan of both the front and back of your GCC Residence Permit. Your job title on the permit must be clearly visible in the scan.

Option 2: GCC Visit Visa

Note: Only Sticker / regular visas from GCC countries are accepted as valid proof for Qatar GCC Resident Visa (A2) applications. eVisas are not accepted.

Note: The document must remain valid for 3 months from the date of arrival in Qatar.

Preparing Your Documents Correctly

Review each file before uploading:

  • Is the photo sharp and recent?
  • Is the passport scan free of glare and fully readable?
  • Do the names and addresses in your accommodation booking match your application?

These checks reduce the risk of delays or rejection.

Processing Times

Most Qatar eVisa applications are processed within 18 - 21 Working Days. Incomplete or unclear files are a common cause of delays. Apply well before your travel date and check each document carefully before submission.
